Craig Saggers and Joe Al-Smadi, who formed the band Diva fever, are in X Factor’s finals as Simon Cowell’s wildcards. They made it through the first week with their version of Boney M’s, “Sunny”. India’s censor board bans gay love scenes in”Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun”. Yuvraaj Parasher disowned by Father.

India’s censor board banned gay kissing and lovemaking scenes by Kapil Sharma and Yuvraaj Parasher in the film, “Dunno Y… Na Jaane Kyun”. The women censors asked that the torrid kissing scenes and one real lovemaking scene be cut.

Actor Kapil Sharma defended the love scenes saying, “The Censor Board objected to the kissing and love-making scenes. They asked us to delete them. We refused. We aren’t trying to create any kind of sleazy stuff here. Ours is the first ever serious gay love-story. The intimacy is essential. Our film is now with the revising committee.” He also said, “It is sensual and bold, but not at all vulgar. It’s like any lovemaking between a guy and a girl. Why should we delete it?”

Model and actor, Yuvraaj Parasher, was excited to take on the role saying, “I feel cinema and the audience have changed. I never wanted to make my debut as a collegian wooing a chick on a bike. When I was selected to play gay in the audition, I was elated. I’d rather do something unconventional.” He also talked a bit about their intimacy saying, “It was awkward. After doing it with Kapil we avoided each other. Finally we looked at one another and burst laughing.”

I am impressed by the two actors’ dedication to actually really make love, especially if they’re straight. I have to see the uncut version of the film with these good-looking and talented actors.

Yuvraaj Parasher’s family disowned him for playing this role. His father wants to go to court and officially cut off ties with his son. His parents never want to see him again.
